Artist Statement

A number of years ago after launching my collection of nudes, I began to nurture a desire to create an entire series of erotic art as an extension of my nudes. As an artist who works with this subject, I enjoy the challenge of seeing how far I can take the concept while maintaining the creative vision and integrity of my work. With my collection of nudes and exposing them to the public at my shows and art galleries, I have been able to witness a fascinating and vast range of responses to my nudes, from people from around the world. The notion that my art provokes introspection of one's own comfort boundaries when it comes to the naked human body, is very intriquing as well as rewarding to me. Stirring up any type of emotional response, whether perceived as positive or negative in a viewer, with one's art is important to me as an artist. The fact that it has touched someone on a deeper level is what counts. It is this quest of curiousity about the range of people's "open-ness" along with their cultural influences that has inspired me to create this Erotic Art Garden™, coupled with my love and passion of creating art that stimulates the heart and mind while integrating nature, spirit and humankind.

The Erotic Art Garden™ is a celebration of our human sexuality and what it is to be true to our own natural instincts and desires - a celebration of our natural bodies in our natural world - simply...nature.
